Projects
with a margin
A3.Projects runs tasks and projects, collects hours and shows cost, revenue and margin for every project.
- Tasks and time tracking for free
- Import from Jira and Bitrix24 with rollback
- Six interface languages

Where profitability comes from
A task tracker shows that the work is done. A3.Projects shows what it cost and what it earned. The calculation works on values entered by hand, and connected ecosystem products replace manual input with actual data.
- Hours from tasksA3.Projectstimer, timesheet or manual entry
- Employee ratesA3.HRor a rate set on the project
- Direct costsA3.Accountingor costs entered against budget lines
- Contract valueA3.Lawyeror a budget set by the project manager
- Payments receivedA3.Financeor a manual mark against an issued invoice
Actual project profitability
Calculated from approved hours and accounting data. The planned figure and the variance always sit next to it: the gap matters more than either number on its own.
Hours with no cost rate are flagged everywhere margin is shown. Understated cost looks like high profitability, and staying quiet about it is not an option.
More than a task tracker
Everyone has tasks, deadlines and boards. What comes next is the reason teams buy: hours turn into money, and a project gets a budget and a margin.

Six ways to view the work
List, board, calendar, timeline, Gantt and a personal day plan. A view keeps its filters, its column set and can be shared with the team. Bulk actions apply to whatever you select.

Project economics
Five payment models, three separate rates, cost, revenue, margin and a forecast at completion built from estimates on open tasks.

Hours without the friction
A timer, a weekly timesheet and bulk entry. Time can be logged straight from a case card in another product, without coming here.

Gantt and dependencies
Four link types with lag, the critical path, a baseline and date shifts that follow the working calendar.

Rules instead of reminders
Event, condition, action. An overdue task escalates, a budget threshold notifies, an email to a shared mailbox becomes a task.

External assignments
An instruction from a lawyer, a screening request or a repair ticket arrives from another product over the API and joins one list of work. Fields owned by the source are read only here, and a link leads back to the product they came from.

Reports under the reader permissions
A builder, exports and scheduled delivery. A report is built with the permissions of whoever receives it, not whoever subscribed them.
How the working cycle runs

Project
Scope, dates, members and their roles, budget and payment model. A client project can be linked to a contract and a customer.
Work
Tasks live in a list, on a board or on the Gantt. People assemble their own day plan, managers see the load across the team.
Hours
Logged by timer, by timesheet or by hand. Approval is configurable: off, selective or mandatory for everyone.
Money
Approved hours go into cost and into the invoice. Budget consumption and variance show up the same day, not at quarter end.
Where project money leaks
Money is lost not in big failures but in small things nobody collects. A dedicated screen gathers them for a period, compares them with the previous one and emails a summary once a week.
How the leaks screen worksUnbilled hours
The work is done, the act is not. The screen shows the hours and the amount you can bill for them, and draft acts are created with one button.
Hours without a rate
Cost is understated, and margin looks better than it is. Such hours are flagged wherever money is shown.
Fixed price overruns
Changes beyond the contract eat the margin. The overrun shows while it can still be discussed with the client.
Non-billable work
The share of hours nobody will pay for, by project and by work type.
Budget running out
Budget threshold alerts and the date it runs out at the current logging pace.
Works alone, gets stronger in the ecosystem
There is exactly one mandatory dependency: A3.ID for sign-in and organizations. Everything else is connected when you need it and adds data rather than unlocking the product.

What each connection adds
- A3.Projects aloneHours, rates entered on the project, budget and planned margin
- A3.HRActual cost rates, working calendars, absences and qualifications
- A3.LawyerContract value, payment stages and dates, an act for work performed
- A3.AccountingDirect costs, subcontractor work and allocated overheads
- A3.FinancePayments received and the actual cash flow of a project
A missing link never looks like an error. Next to a manual rate sits an offer to connect A3.HR, not a disabled button.
Sized for a whole organisation, not one team
Try it without risk
Moving to a new tracker means fearing lost history and lock-in. So leaving is as simple as joining, and the team’s money stays hidden from those who should not see it.
Free tier
Tasks, projects, boards and time tracking work without paying. You pay when you need rates, margin and acts.
Import with rollback
Bitrix24, Jira, Trello, Asana, Kaiten, Planfix and Weeek. A preview without writes, and a failed move rolls back as a whole.
Full data export
All organization data exports in one archive. Nothing is locked into the product.
Salaries stay private
Access to a project does not open its cost. Employee rates sit behind a separate right, and external participants never get economics, not even through the API.
Put a number on your first project
Tasks, projects, boards, dates and time tracking are available on the free tier. Rates, cost and profitability switch on when you need figures rather than discipline alone.
