Hours and money

Time tracking

All project economics rests on these hours, so logging is the shortest flow in the product, and metrics based on hours are deliberately kept out of employee assessment.

Available in:Free tier “Start”

What it covers

  • A timer in the header on every screen and the Alt+T shortcut, a weekly timesheet, bulk logging
  • The date the work was done, not the date it was typed: yesterday stays yesterday
  • A billable flag and a work type for analytics
  • Approval is configurable: off, selective or mandatory for everyone
  • Reminders about unlogged time and a timesheet completeness report
  • The logging widget embeds into a case, screening or ticket card in another product
  • Logging suggestions: tasks you worked on are offered as ready drafts and are never saved without you
  • Free-form input: “1h 30m”, “1:30”, “1.5” or “90”

Frequently asked questions

In what form can I enter time?

Whichever is easier: “1h 30m”, “1:30”, “1.5” or “90”. The timer starts from the header or with Alt+T, and yesterday’s hours are logged with yesterday’s date.

Is time tracking paid?

The timer, timesheet and manual entry are in the free tier. Approval of hours and cost calculation are part of the “Project business” plan.
