Extensions
Sprints and kanban metrics
Engineering terminology is not imposed on the whole organisation: the extension is switched on separately and is off by default. A law firm does not need scrum.
Available in:Extension, added separately from the plan

What it covers
- A prioritised backlog and scrum teams
- Sprints: planning, the active sprint, the retrospective
- Estimation in story points or hours, team velocity and a burndown chart
- Epics, and a definition of done as a sprint checklist rather than a per-task one
- Kanban metrics: lead time, cycle time, cumulative flow diagram
- Metrics are built from the activity feed, with the median shown next to the average
Frequently asked questions
Will the whole organization see scrum?
No. The extension is turned on separately, and only the teams that need it see its sections.
How are sprint tasks estimated?
In story points or hours. Team velocity and the burndown chart use the chosen unit.
